Florida St. Seminoles Basketball Fanatics

FSU', with the win over the Hokies on Sunday, earned their first first round bye in the ACC Tournament and probably solidified themselves as a top 6 seed in the NCAA tourney

FSU just got some nice revenge against the Canes today winning an 80-67 contest. That puts us at 20-6 on the year and 7-4 in a tough ACC conference. We are looking like a solid Tourney team, and quite honestly, a top 25 team!!

I know it means nothing - but this is a very proud day for me. It's been 5 years since FSU cracked the top 25, and not since 1998 when we were ranked this late in the year.

I really look at the dynamic here, and see a young team capable of surpassing even the 1992 Seminoles this year. Congratulations Uche, Solomon, Luke, Deividas, Toney, Derwin, Matt, CJ, Ryan and all the other guys. Congrats to Coach Hamilton!

It makes me proud to see the accomplishments of all of our athletes. Across the board -- Women's soccer, Track and Field, Baseball, Football, Men's AND Women's Basketball (Coach Sue - congrats!) Golf, and Tennis.
